The 2023 Russell Memorial Scholarship was presented to Austin Fellman by Sharon Russell.
The Russell Memorial Scholarship is in honor of Bruce Russell, Class of 1962. While at Lincoln, Bruce played football and sang in the choir for four years. He was active in FFA, holding local as well as regional offices of reporter and president as a senior. He served as class treasurer his senior year. He was recognized as National Honor Society and National Athletic Society. He always loved agriculture and owned H & R Block franchise for many years. He and his wife, Sharon, followed many activities of School District #564. Both of their daughters are teachers; Brenda Kasprick at Lincoln High School and Cindi Bondy at Davies High School in Fargo, ND.
This scholarship is for a student majoring in the field of education and who is attending a four-year school.
