![]() |
Margaret was passionate about her family and her community. She was dedicated to community service and was a leader in a variety of civic organizations. Margaret firmly believed that women needed to be involved in the larger world of culture and community life. She was a third generation member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, serving in many capacities including Minnesota State President from 1986-1988. Her president’s theme, “A Positive Attitude Can Make the Difference,” speaks volumes about Margaret’s character and legacy.
The Margaret Saetre Leadership Award was established by the family in her memory.
