Ruth Stenson Memorial Vocal Scholarship

Ruth Stenson Memorial Vocal Scholarship to Laura Pancoast.

The Ruth Stenson Memorial Vocal Scholarship is awarded to a choir student at LIncoln High School planning on attending a four-year college majoring in vocal music (teaching or performance); who is taking private voice lessons from a vocal coach; and who writes a two-page paper describing how music has influenced her or her life. Ruth was the director of the choir and Sunrise Singers at Franklin Middle School from 1990-2008. She loved working with students and her goals was to instill in them the love of music. The Lincoln High School Choir Boosters established this scholarship in Ruth's memory. |
