with the Hempel Fine Arts Scholarship.

The Hempel Fine Arts Scholarship was established in 2007 by Cody and Misty Hempel to provide greater educational opportunities to a Lincoln High School student pursuing a Fine Arts degree. This annual scholarship is awarded to the student during the second semester of college in pursuit of a Fine Arts degree.

Cody and Misty Hempel both graduated from Lincoln High School (1998, 2000) and were active in the Fine Arts programs. Cody participated in concert choir, band, jazz band, music theory, and the Magnet Arts program, and Misty participated in concert choir, dance, and the Magnet Arts program. The scholarship is established to provide assistance to a student who actively participates in their area of study, shows a dedication to the fine arts, and has demonstrated determination and drive to succeed through work, community involvement, and past participation in the fine arts programs.

Cody and Misty currently live in Thief River Falls, MN with their two wonderful children and are actively involved in the educational system and fine arts programs.
